Kryophere on BBC Radio Wales TONIGHT from 10PM

kryophere

Kryophere are being played on BBC Radio Wales Adam Walton’s show TONIGHT, so make sure you tune in between 10pm and 1am to catch one of the most prominent and influential heavy metal artists to grace the welsh hills this year.

Every Sunday night at 10:00 PM, Adam Walton is live from Wrexham with his unique take on the Welsh music scene. Why not enjoy three hours of non-stop new music, exclusive session tracks and interesting chat. Not only does Mr Walton bring his listener’s the very best of the up and coming music in Wales, but he delivers the crème de la crème to his loyal listeners.

With the National Eisteddfod based right on his front door in Wrexham coming to an end after an unprecedented week of distinguished array of talent showcased in every aspect of Welsh culture, from dancing to contemporary art, singing to dramatic reciting and the very best of the underground rock scene in Maes B, this will prove to be a first class platform to Welsh music.

Kryophere are an epic 7 piece hailing from the valley of the South, with the energy of a five year old on blue Smarties, extreme passion and blistering guitar riffs, they are definitely a concoction of power not to be reckoned with. With their debut album causing a stir amongst critics, you really should make sure you get a chance to treat your ears with their sublime sounds. With a handful of shows coming up in the near future, you must pen this down in your diary and cram your generic music player with their tunes.

Press:

A ferocious mixture of speed, hardcore, technical and death-infused groove metal, ‘Hiraeth’ certainly has a dark, sickly side that blurs edges; dulls the senses. – Metalteamuk.net

It’s ruthless and mean. Is it masochistic to be so in love with an album so full of hate? – AltSounds.com

“Just a lot of screaming for most of the songs”
Shakefire Webzine

“As soon as you’ve bought it, you’ll be able to say you own the debut album of a band that have the makings of Britain’s next metal gods” Getyourrockout Webzine

“It’s so far off the wall that you’ll either end up kicking in your speakers in frustration or laughing your head off”
MTUK Webzine

“If I was to buy a missile to fire at every egotistical singer-songwriter and low-grade indie pop band, I would want this to be the last music they hear before they get obliterated”
World of Shit Webzine

It’s great that these guys got some airtime.

    • Ffi Davies

Completely agree… it’s an ace show in Wales too!
